Ishmael Koroma is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IOY Foundation. He is responsible for setting the organization’s overall strategic direction, leading the development of the organization’s long-and short-term strategies. He manages overall operations that include driving growth, overseeing operations, managing the Foundation’s organizational structure and acting as the public face of the organization
Ishmael Koroma was born in a vibrant community that fostered the values of hard work and education. From an early age, he exhibited a natural curiosity about health and well-being, which set the stage for his future career in healthcare. Ishmael pursued his educational aspirations with vigor, culminating in his enrollment at the University of Phoenix. There, he excelled academically, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in healthcare administration, specializing in Nursing Home Administration. This comprehensive education equipped him with the knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry.
With over 15 years of extensive experience in the healthcare sector, Ishmael has become a notable authority in healthcare delivery.
Ishmael’s approach to leadership is systematic and organized, fostering an environment of cooperation and trust within his teams. His hardworking and dedicated nature inspires those around him to strive for excellence, contributing positively to workplace dynamics and ultimately to patient experiences.
